Thomas has led dozens of major outsourcing transactions across multiple disciplines. As a member of EquaTerra’s senior leadership, he is responsible for:

  • maintaining currency of best practices in the company’s outsourcing transaction methodology
  • assuring quality in individual transactions for outsourced services
  • managing EquaTerra’s specialized negotiators
  • delivering expertise in the negotiation and restructuring of engagements for outsourced services
  • remediating and restructuring troubled custom system development and integration projects

Thomas has structured global and regional outsourcing relationships for U.S. and European companies to serve operations in more than 70 countries. His expertise in contract mechanics and terms spans IT infrastructure, application development and maintenance, business processes for human resources, finance and accounting, call centers and supply chain, and extends to various industry-specific functions, such as healthcare claims processing and pharmaceutical clinical trial data management.

Away from the office, Thomas enjoys spending time with his daughter and wife, and their horses, and spending time outdoors, preferably with a fly rod in hand.

Thomas adheres to a philosophy that applies interest-based negotiations and demands specificity in operational commitments to the structuring of complex long-term service relationships.
