
EquaTerra is looking for professionals who can lead or support our clients
through the stages of the sourcing lifecycle:

We are looking for advisors with the proven ability to lead complex client engagements that improve our client's business processes. Our client base is seeking to assistance in creating value in key areas such as Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, Information Technology, and Procurement among others.
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 10 years outsourcing, consulting and/or specific domain expertise. Related experience in business process reengineering, business process outsourcing, shared services design and operation, and/or business transformation is required. Ideal candidates will have experience as a buyer, supplier and third-party advisor to the outsourcing industry. Preferred candidates will have experience with at least two of these.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree is required
- Graduate degree relevant to our business is preferred and beneficial
- Experience in all aspects of outsouring, from a consulting, industry or service provider perspective.
- Extensive travel is required
Human Resources Candidate Requirements
- Lead clients through an analysis of their human resources organization, and support service delivery analysis and recommendations.
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of key human resources processes: Compensation, Benefits and Rewards, Organizational and People Development, Employee Data Management, Workforce Planning and Deployment and Human Capital Services.
- Facilitate ERP/technology and employee/manager self service strategies with the client guidance using operational and consulting experiences to provide counsel.
- Facilitate business transformation strategy discussions and guidance on potential future state service delivery models.
- Lead client and internal and external organizations through complex transformation analysis and implementation.
- Assist clients to develop service level requirements based on EquaTerra's process methodology.
- Work with the financial advisor to define and develop Human Resources organization baseline and HR financial model.
- Support contract negotiations.
Finance and Accounting Candidate Requirements
- Lead clients through an analysis of their finance and accounting organization and support service delivery analysis and recommendations.
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of key accounting processes (and related sub-processes) - transaction management, general accounting, tax and compliance, risk management, financial reporting, financial analysis and financial management - developed either in an accounting shared service center or consulting firm.
- Develop ERP strategies with the client input, using operational and consulting experiences to provide guidance to our clients.
- Facilitate business transformation strategy discussions and guidance on potential future state service delivery models.
- Lead client and internal and external organizations through complex transformation analysis and implementation.
- Assist clients to develop service level requirements based on EquaTerra's process methodology.
- Work with the financial advisor to define and develop F&A baseline and F&A financial model.
- Support contract negotiations.
IT Candidate Requirements
- Lead clients through an analysis of their IT organization and support service delivery analysis and recommendations.
- Demonstrate strong working knowledge of key IT processes
- Develop system strategies with the client input, using operational and consulting experiences to provide guidance to our clients.
- Facilitate business transformation strategy discussions and guidance on potential future state service delivery models.
- Lead client and internal and external organizations through complex transformation analysis and implementation.
- Assist clients to develop service level requirements based on EquaTerra's process methodology.
- Work with the financial advisor to define and develop IT baseline and IT financial model.
- Support contract negotiations.
Governance and Transition Management Candidate Requirements
- Facilitate the process with clients to develop an outsourcing governance roadmap for long-term service delivery success for either outsourcing or shared services relationships.
- Utilize outsourcing management experience in designing and building an effective outsourcing governance team for clients managing one or multiple outsourcing relationships.
- Access EquaTerra tools and methodologies to facilitate client sessions for outsourcing governance design, relationship launch and ongoing management.
- Train client personnel on effective outsourcing governance skills. Critical areas include contract administration, financial administration and relationship management.
- Counsel clients on their current outsourcing governance operating model and organization, comparison to industry best practices and peer-group benchmarks.
- Facilitate the contracting process at all stages - lead initial contracting, review the existing contract with respect to current market conditions and assist clients in the re-negotiation process.
- Exercise dispute resolution strategies, relationship realignment and facilitation skills needed.
Financial Architect Candidate Requirements
- Facilitate client's understanding of overall goals and financial issues for an outsourcing transaction.
- Lead client through elements of financial responsibility for all capital expenditures and ongoing expenses in an outsourced relationship.
- Utilize EquaTerra's financial tools and methodologies, and develop a client specific pricing approach.
- Fully understand and communicate to the client all financial components related to a supplier's response.
- Develop the financial evaluation methodology and tools to perform a comparison of service provider responses.
- Participate in, and support contract negotiations.
