Houston (June 15, 2010) – Today EquaTerra announced that Doug Burr, a real estate and facilities management (RE&FM) advisor with more than 15 years of industry experience in both outsourcing and consulting, has joined its RE&FM Advisory Practice.

Prior to joining EquaTerra, Burr was a director of an advisory firm responsible for RE & FM outsourcing engagements. He has managed large-scale client projects, including the outsourcing of more than $1.5 billion of contract value spend in RE & FM services. In addition to RE&FM sourcing, he has consulted on productivity and business process improvement. His experience spans numerous industries, including manufacturing, services, utilities, technology, telecommunications, banking, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods.
As a LEED Accredited Professional, Burr works with clients to include demonstrable improvements in sustainability in the outsourcing process.
