Cardwell Elected to an Advisor Seat on Eight-Member Board

Houston and London (June 22, 2010) – EquaTerra today announced that Cindy Cardwell, EquaTerra Project Director, HR Advisory Services, was elected to the Recruitment Process Outsourcing Alliance (RPOA) Board of Directors. The RPOA is a special interest group of the Human Resources Outsourcing Association (HROA). It supports the HROA’s goals of improving the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the processes involved in supporting, enabling, and outsourcing the services of HR.

“My goal as a member of the RPOA board is to work with my fellow board members to elevate the RPO Alliance so that it becomes the RPO industry’s preeminent and proactive thought leader organization,” said Cardwell. Cardwell’s term commenced on June 8, 2010 and she will serve a three-year term.

Cardwell is an established figure in the HR sourcing and RPO industries. She has held various roles in HR during her twenty-plus year career, from corporate recruiter to vice president of HR. She has garnered critical first-hand knowledge into corporations’ HR services delivery and recruiting challenges and needs. Cardwell brought this in-depth, insider’s knowledge to Saratoga Institute/PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was responsible for human capital consulting engagements encompassing the talent management suite and optimization of HR service delivery through measurement and metrics. Today Cardwell supports clients around the world as the global RPO lead for EquaTerra’s HR Advisory Services practice.

Cardwell has been a member of the RPOA since 2008 and took an active role in the Tools Committee, participating in numerous projects including an assessment guide to help HR practitioners determine if they should proceed with RPO and a Buyer’s Guide to assist in the RPO buying process.

“This is an honor that recognizes Cindy’s RPO industry contributions and achievements,” said Mark Trepanier, EquaTerra's Managing Director for HR Advisory Services. “Cindy has consulted with clients in almost all aspects of talent acquisition initiatives from RPO scoping and sourcing to staffing assessments, strategy and design.”
