Houston and Chicago (November 17, 2010) – EquaTerra, a business advisory firm known globally for helping companies optimize internal support functions, today announced that Jeffrey L. Williams, a senior finance and accounting management and technology executive with more than two decades of sourcing industry experience, has joined EquaTerra’s ERP Advisory Practice as a Client Executive. Williams has 19 years of ERP strategy, integration and implementation expertise and has extensive experience in large scale, multi-site program planning and management.
Before joining EquaTerra Williams was a partner with TechVentive, a professional services firm that provides business advisory services to enable technology and service provider clients to grow profitably in complex and competitive markets.
Williams spent the first 20 years of his professional career with Accenture in increasingly senior roles. These included: industry lead partner, Finance and Performance Management Line of Business; director of Finance Strategy Market Offering; director of Finance and Performance Management Center of Excellence; and certified Accenture lead systems integration and technology solution architect, delivery lead, and quality assurance director.
He has worked effectively in Asia Pacific, most of Western Europe, the Czech Republic and all of North America, and has experience in the automotive, industrial equipment, health and life sciences, financial services, consumer goods and services, travel and transportation and utilities industries.
Williams is a published author on topics ranging from transformational outsourcing to the use of offshore analytics, and has been a featured speaker on webinars with CBS Interactive, CFO magazine and Business Finance magazine, as well as at various software conferences and user group meetings. He has a B.S. in Agriculture Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, studied International Trade and Economics of the European Union at IES Abroad in Freiburg, Germany, and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
