A penchant for execution
Throughout Mark Trepanier’s 30 year business career, he has always been focused on the efficient and effective execution of business processes. Starting his career in finance and accounting, Mark worked in shared services delivery roles, then migrating to technology outsourcing, and subsequently HR and finance outsourcing. Currently Mark works with clients primarily in their HR function, as they determine how best to design and implement a service delivery model that best meets the needs of their business.
“I have the good fortune to work across a spectrum of organizations, seeing the challenges across many businesses, and get to work with clients who are committed to the function, and to enhancing the function’s role in their enterprise," says Mark. Mark is known for his integrity and ability to forge strong personal bonds. “My philosophy is simple,” he says. “What’s good for the customer is good for me.”
Mark has extensive operational and design experience in the creation and implementation of service delivery models, leveraging both internal (e.g. shared services) and external (e.g. outsourcing) strategies to meet global delivery challenges. He has a vision for the strategy, the experience in execution, and an appetite for the detail to help clients move quickly to solutions.
Mark is a devoted hockey fan, was known to throw the odd curling stone in his early years, and is a sucker for Broadway musicals (there is poetry to good execution).
