Summary:
Recruitment Process Outsourcing or RPO is a form of business process outsourcing in which an employer transfers all or some of its recruitment activities to an external service provider. A major distinction between RPO and other types of staffing is the process. In RPO, the service provider owns the process, while in other types of staffing, the service provider is part of a process controlled by the organization that contracts for services. Cindy Cardwell, an EquaTerra executive with extensive background in human resources and consulting, shares her views on the current and future state of RPO.
