EQUATERRA PRODUCES SUMMER FESTIVAL SERIES THAT’S MUSIC TO CORPORATIONS’ EARS

HOUSTON and LONDON (July 27, 2006) —While symphonies under the stars, Jazz, Rock and Roll and Reggae are all traditional summer concert fare, EquaTerra has produced a unique “Summer Festival” specifically designed for those seeking to improve their IT and business processes through internal transformation or outsourcing.  Each of the “concerts” in the 6-week online Festival correlate to a different stage in the outsourcing or business transformation lifecycle, and include client case studies, research, articles and webcasts.  And since each of the “concerts” will be “performed” online, they can be enjoyed while in the office, at home, or even at the beach!

The first in the series, “Into The Groove”, provides content for those at the early stages of the sourcing “go/no go/how to go” evaluation process.  Its “Headline Act” is an article titled, “Mixing it up – Insource, Outsourcing or Offshore.”  “Supporting Acts” include “DuPont’s Story – Reaping Maximum Value after 10 Years: A Case Study,” “Making Offshore Outsourcing Work,” “When Should you Bundle your BPO Deal?,” and “What Customers Want: a Webcast.”

The rest of the “concerts” in the series are:

  • Marching Band – How to select the right provider and get the right deal – begins August 2
  • Rock ‘n’ Roll – How to manage the contract and avoid “value leakage” after the deal is done – begins August 9
  • The Blues – How to turn a renegotiation into a positive experience for all parties – begins August 16
  • Jazz It Up – How to enhance, refresh or find the skills your retained organization needs to succeed – begins August 23
  • Hip Hop – How to define, encourage and manage innovation in your contract – begins August 30
All concerts in the series can be accessed by going to:  www.equaterra.com/festival.  (Just make sure you don’t get sand in your computer!)
