EQUATERRA ADDS SHARED SERVICES, G&A PROCESS TRANSFORMATION, SOURCING RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT, HR, F&A AND PROCUREMENT OUTSOURCING EXPERTS TO TEAM

HOUSTON (January 13, 2004) —EquaTerra, the world’s first advisory firm to deliver complete Sourcing Lifecycle Management (SLM)™ services to outsourcing buyers,  today announced the addition of four new executives to its team.  The new hires add significant breadth and depth to EquaTerra’s expert capabilities in shared services, general & administrative process transformation, sourcing relationship management, HR, finance & accounting and procurement outsourcing.

Bob Cecil
Bob Cecil has more than twenty years of expertise in assisting clients in the transformation of their organizations and operations.  With a primary focus on the general and administrative processes, Bob has helped global companies realign their structure, governance and management processes, establish shared service centers, evaluate and transition services to outsourcing arrangements, plan and transition processes to offshore centers, re-engineer administrative business processes, and reduce overall cost structure and spend on goods and services.  Prior to joining EquaTerra, Bob was a Vice President at Exult and its management consulting division, Gunn Partners. He held a variety of leadership positions within Gunn Partners including leading the overall organization and creating and managing its European operations.

Duie Block
Duie Block possess more than fifteen years of experience in IT outsourcing, including relationship management, process improvement, application development and flexible staffing.  Before joining EquaTerra, Duie was a Solution Executive in Gartner Group’s Strategic Sourcing Practice.  In that role, Duie provided clients with guidance in IT outsourcing strategy, vendor evaluation and relationship management. Specializing in Outsourcing Relationship Management, Duie led multiple improvement initiatives for Gartner clients and their service providers, leveraging a structured process focused on co-management principals.  Responsibilities included designing and scoping solutions, interviewing executives, conducting collaborative workshops and providing relationship management subject matter expertise. These engagements yielded streamlined governance and management processes, simplified contracts and value-based service levels.

Jeff Collins
Jeff Collins has fifteen years of expertise in administrative, HR and finance processes transformation, management and third-party integration in both shared services and outsourced environments.  He has been the partner, client executive or lead consultant in process transformation engagements with global corporations including Kraft Foods, Unilever, Sears, BP, Quaker Foods, Lockheed Martin, Alcoa, Dow Chemical and Allied Signal.

Jeff’s experience covers a broad range of areas including process reengineering, performance management systems design, organization & governance design, shared service implementations, business analysis and modeling, and senior leadership and teamwork development.  Before joining EquaTerra, he  was a service delivery executive for Exult, with overall responsibility for the service delivery function for BP.  He joined Exult as a result of its acquisition of Gunn Partners, where Jeff was a partner and original member, and led a wide variety of shared services, leadership and process redesign programs for clients around the world.

Lee Ann Moore
Lee Ann Moore has held executive roles in finance, outsourcing and procurement consulting firms throughout her career.  In addition to her direct advisory support for clients, Lee Ann also serves as the single liaison point of contact between EquaTerra and outsourcing service providers.  Before EquaTerra, she established an independent consulting firm analyzing evolving markets for technologies that manage complex IT and BPO outsourced relationships.  Prior to that she was Chief Strategy Officer at a procurement consulting firm that was a spin out of SourceNet Solutions, a finance and accounting outsourcing firm serving a global client base.  There, she led the functional and technology development teams for strategic sourcing, procurement and payment solutions in SAP R/3 and web-based applications.  Earlier at SourceNet, she served in a variety of client-facing leadership roles including process evaluation and design, business case development, transitioning clients internal processes to external service delivery models, and procure to pay solution design.
